The Heated Black Glass Shelf is a built-in shelf with a ceramic glass surface that provides uniform heat from 100° to 200°F. It features a thermostatic control with a lighted on/off rocker switch and comes in a choice of frame finishes. This shelf is cULus and UL EPH Classified, meeting ANSI/NSF 4 standards. The shelf is made of approved foodsafe material and is ideal for use on pass-through areas, buffet lines, and as hors d'oeuvre displays. It has a lighted on/off rocker switch and comes with a 6-foot cord and plug for portable models. The thermostatically-controlled ceramic glass surface heated base ensures even heating across the entire surface. Portable models have a surface temperature range of 100° to 195°F and offer an optional angled food stop to keep products on the heat zone. The shelf allows for direct placement of food products on the glass surface. All units come with an attractive trim mounting ring, available in stainless steel or Designer Black. Built-in models include a control box with a 3-foot conduit and 6-foot cord and plug. They are recommended for use in metallic counters, but the suitability of other surfaces should be verified for temperature resistance. Standard built-in models can reach temperatures up to 200°F, while high watt built-in models can reach temperatures up to 257°F. Note: Hatco is not responsible for counter damage caused by heat from the warmer. Options available at the time of purchase include different sizes (24", 30", 36", 48", 60", 72"), a portable model, and a Designer Black Powdercoated Trim Ring (non-standard colors are non-returnable). Built-in models also have additional options such as a unit without a trim ring, a built-in shelf with a recessed top, and different control box options. The conduit length can also be customized. The Designer Black color is available for the flush mount control bezel box.
