Introducing the Glo-Ray® Drop In Heated Shelf with Recessed Top, measuring 49-1/2" x 17" with a 1/2" deep recessed surface area. This heated shelf features a hardcoat aluminum top and comes with a control thermostat, illuminated on/off switch, and mounting bracket. It is NSF, cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, ANSI/NSF 4, and CSA certified.
The Glo-Ray® Drop In Heated Shelf is designed to add heat to your serving surface. It has a recessed top with a .5" depth and a hardcoated aluminum surface for uniform heat distribution. The blanket-type element ensures that your food stays warm for longer periods of time. The fiberglass insulation helps to retain heat at the holding surface, while the built-in adjustable thermostat allows you to control the surface temperature.
This heated shelf comes with a thermostatically-controlled heated base and a 36" flexible conduit that channels power lines from the shelf to a control box. The standard controller includes an infinite switch, lighted rocker switch, and mounting brackets. The shelf has a .75" flanged edge that allows it to fit into a countertop opening. It is recommended for use in metallic counters, but for other surfaces, please verify that the material can withstand temperatures up to 200°F (93°C).
The Glo-Ray® Drop In Heated Shelf is available in various widths and depths, ranging from 24" to 72" in width and 15.5", 19.5", or 30" in depth. It also comes with a blanket-type element for efficient heating.
Please note that models with a flush mount recessed electronic control box are not CE approved. Non-standard colors are non-returnable, and Hatco is not responsible for any counter damage caused by heat from the warmer.
Optional features include designer colors for the flush mount control bezel box, such as black, navy blue, warm red, gray granite, white granite, hunter green, and antique copper. Additionally, you can choose to have conduit instead of the standard 3' length, with options for 6' or 10' conduit. You can also opt for a flush mount electronic control box with a lighted power switch and cord and plug, or a flush mount thermostatic control box with a lighted power switch and cord and plug.
