The Glo-Ray® Drop In Heated Shelf with Recessed Top is a versatile and efficient food warming solution for commercial kitchens. It features a 43-1/2" x 17" size with a 1/2" deep recessed surface area, providing ample space for holding and displaying food items.
The top surface of the heated shelf is made of hardcoat aluminum, which ensures even heat distribution and durability. The blanket-type element underneath the surface further enhances heat distribution and extends the food holding time.
The heated shelf is equipped with a thermostatically-controlled base, allowing you to adjust the surface temperature according to your needs. This ensures that your food stays at the desired temperature for serving.
To ensure safety and convenience, the heated shelf comes with an illuminated on/off switch and a mounting bracket for easy installation. It is also NSF, cUL, UL, UL EPH Classified, ANSI/NSF 4, and CSA certified, meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.
The built-in heated shelf has a .75" flanged edge, allowing it to fit seamlessly into a countertop opening. It is recommended for use in metallic counters, but you can also use it on other surfaces as long as they can withstand temperatures up to 200°F (93°C).
The Glo-Ray® Drop In Heated Shelf is available in various widths ranging from 24" to 72" and depths of 15.5", 19.5", or 30". It also comes with a blanket-type element for efficient heat distribution.
Optional features include designer colors for the flush mount control bezel box, such as black, navy blue, warm red, gray granite, white granite, hunter green, and antique copper. You can also choose to have conduit instead of the standard 3' length, with options for 6' or 10' lengths. Additionally, you can opt for a flush mount electronic control box or a flush mount thermostatic control box, both of which come with a lighted power switch and a cord and plug for easy operation.
