The Hatco Countertop Heated Wells are electric food warmers/cookers that are designed for countertop use. They have a capacity of (4) 1/3 pans and can be used for both wet and dry operations. The thermostatic controls allow for adjustable temperature settings. The construction is made of stainless steel and the unit has a power of 1800 watts. It is CE, cULus, UL EPH Classified, and ANSI/NSF 4 certified. The product is proudly made in the USA. The heated wells have several standard features including a pan edge offset to prevent condensation from dripping onto the countertop surface. The controls have a separate lighted On/Off rocker switch and an adjustable temperature dial. The pans are made of thicker 1 mm stainless steel with a stainless steel housing and an aluminized steel bottom. While the unit can be used dry, it performs best when used with water. There is a dry indicator lamp that informs the user when water needs to be added. There are also various accessories available for the heated wells. These include pan support bars in 12" and 20" sizes. Rectangular stainless steel food pans are available in full-size (6" H, 4" H, and 2.5" H), half-size (2.5" H), and third-size (2.5" H) options. Adapters are available for the HW-FUL and CHW-FUL models to convert them to hold two 7-Quart or three 4-Quart inserts. Adapters for the HW-43 and CHW-43 models are available to convert them to hold two 11-Quart inserts.
