The SP25 Planetary Mixer by Globe is a bench model that comes with a 25-quart stainless steel bowl and a custom-built motor with a power of ¾ HP. It efficiently delivers power through a high-torque transmission that has heat-treated hardened steel alloy shafts and gears. The transmission is permanently lubricated for extended reliability. To protect the motor from damage, there is thermal overload protection that shuts down the unit if it starts to overheat. The mixer has three fixed agitator speeds: 101 RPM, 185 RPM, and 355 RPM. For convenience, the mixer includes a standard #12 PTO hub at the front for accessories like a vegetable slicer. The PTO runs off the same three-speed transmission and operates at speeds of 57 RPM, 105 RPM, and 202 RPM. The front-mounted control panel has touchpads and features last-batch recall and a 60-minute timer. The removable bowl guard is easy to clean and has an interlock for safety. Additionally, there is a welded ingredient chute that allows for adding extra ingredients without stopping the operation. This bench mixer operates on standard 115v/60/1-ph power at 11.0 amps and comes with a 6-foot power cord that has a NEMA 5-15P plug.
