The Froster is a low-profile, single-zone refrigeration unit with side service. It has a width of 44" and is divided into two sections, with a 16" wide door opening. The unit is self-contained and features LED interior lighting and front venting. The interior and exterior sub-top are made of stainless steel. Each door has three adjustable shelves. The Froster uses R290 Hydrocarbon refrigerant and has a 1/3 HP motor. It is NSF Standard 7 certified for closed container products and has cETLus, ETL-Sanitation, and ETL Verified certifications. The unit is designed for commercial glass frosters. Standard features of the Froster include 180° swinging doors, an all stainless steel interior, foamed-in-place insulation, an automatic condensate evaporator, and a front of cabinet that is electrically heated. The unit also has a stainless steel die cast handle with a lock and includes LED interior lights with an on/off switch. The refrigeration system is self-contained and has a high capacity. Optional glass doors are available, which are triple pane, low E, and Argon filled. The Froster also has a digital thermostat control with automatic defrost that is easily visible. The unit can be purchased without a finished top for integrated installation below a customer supplied bar top. It has two defrost cycles: automatic, which occurs every eight hours without affecting normal operation, and manual, which can be initiated by the user for a complete six hour defrost with automatic restart.
