The Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base is a one-section unit with two 19" drawers. It features a stainless steel exterior, 6" stainless steel legs, and remote refrigeration. This base is only available when ordered with Cuisine Series modular cook tops. It operates on 115v/60/1-ph with 0.73 amps. Standard features include 6" adjustable legs, a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, a center located flush mounted handle, a stainless steel exterior front and sides, and a front face mounted scroll type thermometer. The unit also has a vertically mounted blower coil with HFC-404A refrigerant, heavy-duty stainless steel drawer slides with stainless steel bearings, and removable track assembly drawers with a 10-year warranty for parts. The interior features ABS door front and cabinet sides, a stainless steel interior top, rear, and bottom. The standard drawers have a mullion between them to accommodate 12"x 20" x 4" deep hotel pans. The unit has a 6" mechanical section with a removable front panel for all refrigerant and electrical connections. Note that the compressor is not included and must be provided separately. The unit must be hard-wired on-site. Optional features include casters and doors and tray racks to accommodate sheet pans instead of drawers (not available on 32" drawers). Extra deep drawers without a mullion are also available to accommodate 6" deep hotel pans. The specifications of the unit include a low height design specifically for use under US Range Heavy Duty Cuisine Series modular tops. The exterior is made of stainless steel, while the interior door front and cabinet sides are made of ABS. The interior top, rear, and bottom are made of stainless steel. The unit has a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, a galvanized steel bottom and back, and CFC-free foamed-in-place insulation. The stainless steel roller drawer assembly is removable and comes with self-lubricating rollers. The roller assemblies have a 10-year parts warranty.
