The Polar Cuisine Refrigerated Base is a self-contained refrigeration unit with a width of 102". It is divided into three sections and features six 32" drawers. The exterior is made of stainless steel and it stands on 6" stainless steel legs. This unit is only available when ordered with Cuisine Series modular cook tops. It operates on 115v/60/1-ph and has a current rating of 9.3 amps. Standard features of this unit include adjustable legs, a Santoprene magnetic door gasket, a center located flush mounted handle, and a stainless steel exterior front and sides. The compressor is tropicalized to withstand temperatures up to 100°F (38°C). It also has a front face mounted scroll type thermometer and a vertically mounted blower coil that uses HFC-404A refrigerant. The compressor housing is located on the right end of the unit. The drawers of this unit have a removable track assembly and come with a 10-year warranty for parts. They are equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel drawer slides and bearings. The compressor has a 5-year warranty for replacement parts, with the first year covering parts and labor. The interior of the unit features ABS door fronts and cabinet sides, as well as a stainless steel top, rear, and bottom. The standard drawers have a mullion between them to accommodate 12"x 20" x 4" deep hotel pans. The refrigerator units have a hot gas condensate evaporator, while the freezer units have an electric condensate evaporator. Optional features for this unit include casters and doors with tray racks to accommodate sheet pans instead of drawers (not available for 32" drawers). Extra deep drawers without a mullion are also available to accommodate 6" deep hotel pans. The specifications of this unit include a stainless steel exterior front and sides, ABS interior door fronts and cabinet sides, and a stainless steel interior top, rear, and bottom. It has a Santoprene magnetic door gasket and a galvanized steel bottom and back. The insulation is CFC-free and foamed in place. The stainless steel roller drawer assembly is removable and has self-lubricating rollers. The roller assemblies come with a 10-year parts warranty.
