The Designer Series Charbroiler is an electric countertop unit with a cooking area measuring 15" W x 17-1/4" D. It features a grate lift handle, infinite controls, and a grease drawer. The front and sides are made of stainless steel, and it comes with 4" legs. The unit has a power of 2.7 kW and is NSF, CSA, and CE certified. Standard features include a grate lift handle, heat-on indicator lamps, a concealed grease drawer, and stainless steel front and sides. "CE" approved models have the prefix EDU. The unit comes with a one-year limited parts and labor warranty (USA & Canada only). The controls are infinite switch controlled, with one switch on the ED-15B model, two switches on the ED-30B model, and three switches on the ED-42B model. The design is easy to clean, with recessed protected controls and ample space between elements and side splash walls. Optional features include a stainless steel back and bottom, a broiler splatter guard available in 15", 30", and 42" widths, and a nickel-plated shelf to fit the splatter guard. The electric designer series broilers are available in three widths: ED-15B (15" wide), ED-30B (30" wide), and ED-42B (42" wide). Each section is controlled by an infinite switch.
