If your operation requires the ability to keep a large amount of plated food warm for long periods of time, even without access to electricity, the E-1200 2 Door Heated Banquet Cabinet from FWE is an ideal solution. This cabinet can utilize canned heat and is designed to hold up to 144, 11" diameter plates on its three heavy-duty shelves, with the plates stacked six high.
Monitoring the holding temperature in the cabinet is easy with an analog thermometer that does not require power for operation. The temperature can be adjusted from 90°F to 190°F in ten-degree increments using the manual controls. The cabinet features slide-out drawers at the bottom, with safety stops to prevent tipping or falling out, providing easy access to add canned fuel. A heat distribution tunnel ensures that heat from the canned heat system is distributed throughout the cabinet using natural convection.
The cabinet door is designed to be simple to open and close, with a stainless steel flush-in-door mounted paddle latch. The gasketless door is fully insulated to keep the heat in.
To ensure durability for commercial use, the cabinet is constructed with 20 gauge stainless steel for the exterior, which is polished for easy cleaning. The interior features 22 gauge stainless steel with coved corners for easy cleaning. The cabinet is insulated with UG-26 high-density fiberglass in the bottom, back, sides, and top, which helps to keep the heat in and reduce power usage.
The cabinet is equipped with 6" heavy-duty polyurethane casters, making it easy to move into place. For additional protection, a solid 1-½" wide wraparound aluminum frame with a snap-in non-marking vinyl cushion is installed to the base and extends beyond the doors.
This holding cabinet is UL listed and UL EPH classified to ensure safety and sanitation.
Standard features of the cabinet include removable heavy-duty shelves for easy cleaning, doors that lie flush against the side of the unit when opened to keep work aisles unobstructed, and a unique baffle and vented tunnel system that minimizes temperature differences throughout the cabinet. The controls are up-front and eye-level, with a full-range °F/°C thermostat adjustable to the actual temperature. The thermometer continuously reads the cabinet temperature, even without a power source.
Optional accessories for the cabinet include an upgraded element, a solar digital thermometer, magnetic latch, key locking door latch, padlocking transport latch, left hand door hinging (for
