Standard Features: Refrigeration System The refrigeration system comes pre-wired and ready to plug into a 115V/60Hz/1Ph outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug. It features a full-length air duct system to ensure optimal distribution of cold air. The condenser and evaporator coils have a large capacity and are corrosion-resistant. The system also has a time-initiated and temperature-terminated auto defrost cycle for seamless operation. The fan motors are electronically commutated (ECM), which allows for rapid cooling with less energy consumption. The condensate drain pan is self-maintaining and energy-efficient, requiring no external drains or electric heaters. The condenser fan motor supports compressor ventilation and condenser coil cleaning and has an auto-reverse feature. The refrigeration system uses the environmentally friendly Blizzard R290 condensing unit, which is fully detachable and requires no on-site brazing. It uses zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and has a low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Cabinet Construction The cabinet comes with four height adjustable screw legs. It has 2.5" thick high density polyurethane insulation. The interior and exterior are made of heavy duty white coated steel. The stainless steel floor interior has rounded corners and a detachable drain plug for easy cleaning. Lighting The cabinet is equipped with shielded LED bar lighting with an on/off switch. This provides bright, high color illumination while producing lower heat output. Doors The doors have black PVC frames and high strength, die-cast handles. They are self-closing with an adjustable torsion system for a positive seal. The double glass panes have low emissivity and reflect UV rays for efficient cooling. The doors also have snap-in magnetic gaskets for easy cleaning and replacement. Shelving The shelving comes with height adjustable stainless steel clips. Each section includes four epoxy coated, steel wire shelves with airflow guards. Chromatography Features The cabinet has two access ports, one on each side wall, for running lines or cords. These ports come with heavy duty covers that have lockable tabs. Inside the cabinet, there is a duplex GFCI electrical outlet for powering stirring devices and other equipment. It includes a waterproof cover. Temperature Control The cabinet is equipped with a multi-function digital controller with an easy to read LED display. It also has an audible overheat protection alarm for the compressor
