Electric twin unit kettle/mixer with a sweep & fold agitator. It has a twin 60-gallon capacity and features a 2/3 steam jacket design. The kettle is tilt-type and has variable speed control. It also includes a hot and cold water faucet, a 2" tangent draw-off valve, and an open leg base. The construction is made of stainless steel.
Standard features of this kettle/mixer include a large pouring lip, no water gauge required, mixer stops when the bridge is lifted, solid state low water safety control, safety device to prevent high-speed starts, level adjustable feet, gallon markings stamped into the scraper shaft, a 50 psi safety valve and steam jacket rating, stainless steel exterior surfaces, and various approvals such as UL, CSA, CE, NSF, and ASME.
Additional features include a 2" diameter tangent draw-off valve with a drain strainer, infinitely variable scraper speed control, bayonet mounted agitator and scraper for easy removal, standard 208-240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire, high wattage, solid state temperature control for perfect simmering, rear-mounted pressure/vacuum gauge and pressure relief valve, a 3 horsepower hydraulic powered agitator, scraper, and bridge lift, an enclosed stainless steel hydraulically operated mixer bridge, removable nylon blades for scraping the jacketed surface, and all plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics enclosed in stainless steel consoles.
The kettle/mixer also has a steam jacket filled with treated water, eliminating the need for venting or refilling. The tilt mechanism is made of roller bearings and a case-hardened self-locking worm and segment gear. There is an infinitely variable ratio between the scraper and agitator, with the agitator rotating from 0-8 times the speed of the scraper.
Optional accessories for this kettle/mixer include covers, power tilt, pan carrier, flow diverter, food strainer, leg extensions, swing funnels, alternate mounting systems, different voltages, product time/temperature controls and indicators, water meter, type 316 stainless steel interior for high acid food products, and a kettle accessory kit. The kettle accessory kit includes a 24 oz. ladle, draw-off brush, clean-up brush, 36" commercial kettle whip, 36" kettle brush, and 36" kettle paddle.
