The kettle/mixer is a twin unit with a direct, sweep & fold agitator. It has a twin 40-gallon capacity and features a 2/3 steam jacket design. The tilt-type kettle has a variable speed and comes with a hot and cold water faucet. It also includes a 3" butterfly valve and an open leg base. The construction is made of stainless steel.
Standard features of the kettle/mixer include a large pouring lip, a condensate valve with an insulated handle, and a safety device that prevents high-speed starts. It also has gallon markings stamped into the scraper shaft and level adjustable solid feet for floor bolting. The kettle and all exterior surfaces are made of stainless steel.
The kettle/mixer operates on standard 208-240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire. It has a factory-installed chrome-plated steam control kit and a 50 psi steam jacket rating on 40-100 gallon models. The scraper speed control is infinitely variable from 0 to 40 rpm. The agitator and scraper are bayonet mounted for easy removal.
The kettle/mixer is equipped with a 3 horsepower hydraulic powered agitator, scraper, and bridge lift. All plumbing, electrical, and hydraulics are enclosed in stainless steel consoles. The mixer bridge is enclosed and made of 10 gauge stainless steel. The nylon blades are removable without tools and scrape the entire jacketed surface. The tilt mechanism is made of roller bearings and case hardened self-locking worm and segment gear.
The kettle/mixer offers options and accessories such as covers, pan carrier, flow diverter, food strainer, leg extensions, alternate draw-off valves, swing funnels, pressure reducing valve, automatic water cooling, alternate mounting systems, power tilt, accessories for connection to food pumps, water meter built into the system, and product time/temperature controls and indicators. It also has the option for a type 316 stainless steel kettle interior for high acid food products.
The kettle accessory kit includes a 24 oz. ladle, draw-off brush, clean-up brush, 36" kettle whip, 36" kettle brush, and 36" kettle paddle.
