The tilt mechanism is made of roller bearings and has a case hardened self-locking machined worm and segment gear. The kettle has a 3-horsepower hydraulic powered agitator, scraper, and bridge lift. The nylon scraper blades are removable without tools. The kettle has a high efficiency (65%) forced air double pass heating system with a 140M BTU rating. It has solid-state temperature controls with less than 1° C temperature differences. The controls have an LED indicator for heat cycle and low water indicator, as well as a power on/off switch. The kettle has an infinitely variable ratio control between the scraper and agitator. The agitator rotates from 0 to 8 times the speed of the scraper. The scraper speed controls are infinitely variable from 0 to 45 RPM.
