The kettle/mixer is a direct, countertop appliance with a sweep/fold agitator. It has a 12-gallon capacity and features a 2/3 steam jacket design. The tilt-type kettle has variable speed control and comes with a H/C faucet. It is constructed with stainless steel for durability.
Some standard features of the kettle/mixer include a large pouring lip, a 50 psi steam jacket rating, and the ability for mixing to stop when the bridge is lifted. The scraper shaft also has gallon markings for easy measurement. The appliance comes with a factory installed steam control kit and a 3/4 horsepower D.C. timing belt drive. The steam control valve is built into the trunnion.
The kettle/mixer has typical approvals such as NSF and ASME. It also has a safety device that prevents high-speed starts. The appliance operates on standard 120 volts, 60 Hz, single phase, 3 wire. Both the kettle and all exterior surfaces are made of stainless steel. The tilt handle is interchangeable for left or right operation. The mixer bridge is enclosed, balanced, and made of 10 gauge stainless steel. The agitator and scraper are bayonet mounted for easy removal. The nylon blade is removable without the need for tools and can scrape the entire jacketed surface. The speed of the scraper and agitator is infinitely variable, with the scraper ranging from 0-70 rpm and the agitator ranging from 0-20 rpm.
There are also various options and accessories available for the kettle/mixer. These include covers, a flow diverter, a food strainer, a faucet bracket, water cooling, a pressure reducing valve, a support stand with drain drawer, double or single pantry faucets, product time/temperature controls and indicators, a water meter, a type 316 stainless steel commercial kettle interior for high acid food products, and a kettle accessory kit. The kettle accessory kit includes a 24 oz. ladle, a draw-off brush, a clean-up brush, a 36" kettle whip, a 36" kettle brush, and a 36" kettle paddle.
