The Short Series™ Steam Jacketed Kettle is an electric kettle with a 60-gallon capacity. It features a full steam jacket design and a 34.8" rim height. The kettle is constructed with stainless steel and has solid-state temperature controls. It also has a power on/off switch, a drain strainer, and a faucet mounting bracket. The kettle has a spring-assisted cover and a 2" tangent draw-off valve. It has a 50 psi rating and comes with standard features such as a safety valve, water resistant controls, and a tangent draw-off valve with a drain strainer. The kettle is approved by UL, CSA, CE, NSF, and ASME. It operates on standard voltage of 208-240 volts, 60 Hz, 3 Phase, 3-wire. The kettle has a 50 psi steam jacket rating and a spring-assisted, hinged, rotatable, domed stainless steel cover. It is self-contained and easily installed with only an electrical hook-up. The kettle has tri-leg supports with level adjustable feet for floor bolting. It has a solid state water level control and a steam jacket filled with treated water, eliminating the need for venting or refilling. The kettle has welded-in heating elements and a reinforced rolled rim design. It is easily cleaned with type 304 stainless steel construction. The kettle has a rear mounted pressure gauge and pressure relief valve. It has accurate solid state temperature controls with less than ±1°C variance. The control panel includes a power on/off switch, LED indicators for low water and heat cycle, and an adjustable temperature control dial. The kettle also has various options and accessories available, such as kettle markings, measuring strips, correctional packages, a kettle accessory kit, an insulated outer jacket, a heat deflector shield, a hot & cold water faucet, different voltages, high wattage, a 316 stainless steel interior liner, a tri-basket strainer support system, and a 3" diameter tangent draw-off valve with a strainer.
