The gas-powered steam generator is a modular design with a 36" wide cabinet base. It includes a power take-off kit and is constructed with stainless steel. The generator has a capacity of 300,000 BTU. Standard features of the steam generator include a hinged cabinet door, gas pressure regulator, low water safety cut-off, secondary low water cut-off, pressure limit controls with a 15 psi safety valve, and solid state water level controls. The major components of the generator are serviceable from the front of the unit. The generator only requires a single cold water connection and has a solid state electronic spark ignition for energy savings. It is also insulated to reduce heat loss to the work area. The standard voltage for the controls is 115 volt, 60 Hz, single phase. The steam generator comes with 6" stainless steel legs with level adjustment and flanged feet. It also has a drain that incorporates water cooling and "jet rinsing". The generator is complete with an access hole/cover plate and a sight glass gauge. The exterior enclosure, back splash, and table top are made of type 430 stainless steel with a #4 finish. The steam generator is equipped with Nickelguard™, which automatically empties under pressure (blowdown) upon each shut-down and has automatic water refill on start-up. Optional accessories for the steam generator include gas other than natural gas, a boiler descaling pump kit, and an insulated flue for island installation.
