The SteamChef™ 3 Convection Steamers are electric, boilerless, and double stacked. They come with an UNISTAND25 equipment stand and include the CHEFSTACKIT feature. Each compartment has a capacity for three full-size pans. The steamer has SureCook controls, a 60-minute electro-mechanical timer, and a manual bypass switch for continuous steaming. The left-hand door is hinged, and the controls are on the right. It has automatic drain and water level controls, a KleanShield™ interior, and standard treated and tap water connections. The steamer also comes with a mounting spacer and 4" adjustable legs.
Standard features include a steam and fan shut off control when the compartment door is opened, left-hand door hinging, and compliance with agency codes such as UL, CUL, NSF#4, and Energy Star. The steamer can cook up to three 12" x 20" x 2.5" deep steam table pans per compartment. It has a high-speed electric convection system with a 1.5 gallon water reservoir located at the bottom for easy access. The 9 kW electric heating elements are in aluminum blocks for efficient heat transfer and do not require deliming. The steamer also has an exclusive automatic drain control, a durable stainless steel compartment door and latch, and a fan forced convection steam system with a patented KleanShieldTM cooking compartment design.
Additional features include automatic water level controls, a SureCook compartment control system, and a stacking combination that requires field installation. Optional accessories include single phase operation, right-hand door hinging, ON/OFF compartment control only, optional voltages, and a water connection kit. Cleveland's product line offers a "Best-in-Class" warranty program, including free performance start-up with a water quality check, 1-year door gaskets and adjustments, a 2-year K-12 school warranty, and a 2-year warranty with filter purchase. There is also a 5-year prorated warranty for pressure boilers and steam generators.
