The slicer comes with a LED indicator to show when it is powered on. It also has an ergonomic handle that allows for multiple grips to easily move the product table. Cleaning under the slicer is made easy with the kickstand feature. The slicer is equipped with a 120/60/1, 7 amp AC power supply, along with a 3 wire cord and plug. The knife is protected by a permanent ring guard that covers the non-slicing portion. In the event of a power interruption, the slicer has a no-volt release feature that requires it to be restarted. The knife motor is a 1-speed, 1/2 HP, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor with thermal protection. The knife itself is a 13" diameter, hollow ground, hardened and polished forged stainless steel knife. To ensure even slicing, the slicer has an articulating and full-length rear-mounted meat pusher. The thickness of the slices can be adjusted precisely with the variable pitch barrel cam, with a maximum thickness of 15/16" (34 mm). The start/stop switches are sealed and located outside of the food zone for easy access. The gauge plate is secured during cleaning with a mechanical interlock. The base and product table are made of one-piece NSF polymer for easy cleaning. The sharpener is submersible and removable for consistent sharpening and cleaning. The index knob is conveniently located outside of the drip zone for quick access. The product table has a large capacity, allowing for rectangles up to 10 1/2" x 6 3/4" (265 mm x 170 mm), squares up to 7 1/2" (190 mm), and rounds up to 8 1/2" (220 mm) in diameter. Optional accessories include a slaw tray, product fence, and vegetable chute with pusher.
