The AccuTemp S32401D060 SGL Steam'N'Hold™ Boilerless Floor Model Steamer is an electric steamer designed to hold three 20"x 2-½" cafeteria pans. It operates on 240v/60/1-ph power and has a power output of 6kW.
AccuTemp's Steam'N'Hold™ steamers offer a unique advantage over conventional convection steamers. Their patented vacuum technology removes air from the cavity, allowing steam to make better contact with the food for improved thermal transfer. Unlike traditional convection steamers that use a fan to circulate air, which acts as an insulator, this steamer efficiently applies heat to the food. Additionally, the vacuum system lowers the boiling point of water, enabling steam cooking at lower temperatures.
This commercial floor model steamer is connectionless and does not require plumbing for installation. It has a 3-gallon water reservoir that can be manually filled with potable water. The sturdy stand included with this unit has a storage shelf for extra storage space. It is designed to last as long as the steamer and can accommodate the addition of another 3 or 6 pan steamer in the future.
